For the last 18+ years, Maji na Ufanisi has focused on provision of sustainable solutions to challenges of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) to communities in urban informal settlements and the marginalised rural areas of Kenya. Maji na Ufanisi’s Philosophy and Approach is based on the knowledge that ultimately, real development is in people and their ability to take increasing control over the resources and decisions that directly affect their lives. This means that direct community participation is the most ideal way of undertaking positive change to the society.
